BADGER project attends the CAE 2018 Conference on 8-9 October 2018 in Vicenza, Italy.
The Consortium of the BADGER project met in Thessaloniki, Greece, on 23-24 October 2018, at the premises of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Information Technologies Institute (ITI).
BADGER participated in this year’s IROS conference, which was held in Madrid, Spain, on October 1-5, 2018, through a BADGER booth at the IROS 2018 exhibition space, as well as a scientific paper orally presented during the conference’s technical program.
The BADGER project was presented at the Glasgow Science Festival Science Sunday on the 10th of June. This yearly event allowed the UoG to engage with the local community and discuss the BADGER project with the general public. The reasons behind the BADGER project were presented.
TRACTO-TECHNIK GmbH & Co. KG organized the “HANDS ON DAYS” event from the 9th until the 13th of April 2018. It is an internal exhibition for international customers and interested persons for trenchless technologies manufactured by TT. At this exhibition the machines from TT are presented also into the test field as well as lectures to different themes are held.
The BADGER project is organizing a workshop in the European Robotics Forum 2018 (ERF2018), held in Tampere, Finland, on 22-24 March 2018, entitled “Intelligent trenchless underground robotic systems”. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, 14 March 2018; more details can be found here.
The Consortium of the BADGER project met in Glasgow, Scotland, UK, on 13-14 November 2017, at the premises of the University of Glasgow. The primary purpose of the meeting was to further elaborate on the design of the BADGER robot, its specifications and overall architecture. Decisions on a series of key aspects of the BADGER H/W and S/W design were taken, paving the way towards the following project steps, which will focus on the detailed definition of the BADGER architecture and the initial developments of the robot prototype.
The BADGER projects was at the European Committee of the Regions exhibition during European Robotics Week 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
